SUMMARY:Sussex Pride Health Comittee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Sussex Pride Health Committee will be meeting via zoom.  T
 he group normally meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 3:00 PM.
   Our guest speaker will be Adrian Shanker (he/him).\n\nAdrian Shanker se
 rved under the Biden-Harris Administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary f
 or Health Policy and Senior Advisor on LGBTQI+ Health Equity at the U.S. D
 epartment of Health and Human Services.  Previously the Executive Direct
 or of the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center.  In that role\, he cre
 ated and broadly implemented the biannual Pennsylvania LGBTQ Health Needs 
 Assessment in 2015\, 2018\, 2020\, and 2022.   He will speak about the i
 mportance of this work and provide thoughts on how we can pursue similar e
 fforts in Delaware.\n\nAdrian has edited two anthologies\, Bodies and Bar
 riers: Queer Activists on Health and Crisis and Care: Queer Activist Res
 ponses to a Global Pandemic and authored chapters in three additional boo
 ks.\n\nThe purpose of the Sussex Pride Health Committee is to address the 
 health disparities LGBTQ+ people face in Sussex County.  If you are inte
