It empowers people to recognize potential ly harmful situations\, assess the risks involved\, and take action to pre vent or stop the situation from escalating.\n\nThe online workshop will be provided by CenterLink\, and TAGlobal.\n\nThe Delaware Anti-Violence Proj ect works to prevent violence against LGBTQ+ individuals and advocate for survivors in Delaware.  This meeting that will take place online .  Plea se register for this meeting at the bottom of this page in order to receiv e meeting information or email davp@sussexpride.org.  If you are currentl y a member of the google group for the Delaware Anti-Violence Project\, yo u do not need to register.\n\nAbout the Presenters:\nTAL GLOBAL\n\nMike Ke enan is a seasoned security and loss prevention executive with over four d ecades of experience in both the private sector and federal service. He cu rrently serves as Managing Director of Retail Loss Prevention at TAL Globa l and as an Adjunct Professor in the Administration of Justice Department at Diablo Valley College. Previously\, he held senior leadership roles at GAP Inc.\, Ross Stores\, Macy’s West\, and Goodwill Industries of the Gr eater East Bay\, where he served as President and CEO. A former FBI Suppor t Operations Specialist\, Mike holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Calif ornia State University\, Sacramento\, and is a Certified Protection Profes sional (CPP)\, Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI)\, and Loss Prevention Certified (LPC).\n\nCENTERLINK\n\nTanya Tassi is the Senior Director of Ci vic Engagement and Education at CenterLink: The Community of LGBTQ Centers \, a national nonprofit network of more than 375 LGBTQ centers providing e ssential services across the country. She has been with CenterLink for eig ht years\, following her work at the Los Angeles LGBT Center in senior ser vices and policy. Tanya served two terms on the Los Angeles County Commiss ion on Aging\, where she championed for the unique needs of LGBTQ+ older a dults and received the prestigious LINK Award for her outstanding service to the older adult community. She is a volunteer educator with the Nationa l Resource Center on LGBT Aging and a 15-year member of the national Commu nity Emergency Response Team (CERT) program\, where she trains community m embers on disaster preparedness efforts and personal safety and security.
