 nal Day of Lesbian Visibility takes place on April 26. This day is meant t
 o celebrate\, recognize\, and bring visibility to lesbian-identifying memb
 ers of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s also about elevating and honoring this
  unique community that is historically overlooked and dismissed because me
 mbers are both women and queer.\n\nLesbian Visibility Day was established 
 in 2008 as a way for lesbians to be empowered and celebrated. It is observ
 ed annually on April 26th.
