DESCRIPTION:November 23rd is Polyamory Day.  Polyamory is the practice of
 \, or desire for\, intimate relationships with more than one partner\, wit
 h the consent of all partners involved. It has been described as “consen
 sual\, ethical\, and responsible non-monogamy”.\n\nPolyamory Day was bor
 n in Canada.  On November 23\, 2011\, the British Columbia Supreme Court
  ruled that Section 293 of the Criminal Code of Canada does not apply to u
 nformalized polyamorous relationships. That decision was not appealed and 
 effectively makes polyamory legal in Canada where a person is not married 
 in a ceremony to more than two people.
