DESCRIPTION:Save the date! You're invited to a reception in honor of Nation
 al Coming Out Day.   National Coming Out Day is October 11th\, but this 
 event will take place earlier\, on Friday October 9th from 6:00 PM to 8:00
  PM in the Seaford Planned Parenthood Office.   Come enjoy light refresh
 ments\, music\, and connect with the local LGBTQ+ community in Seaford.  
 This event is sponsored by Sussex Pride\, Nonviolent Seaford\, and Planned
  Parenthood Delaware.\n\nThis event is free\, but registration is requeste
 d.  Register below.\n\n\nNational Coming Out Day (NCOD) acts as the LGBTQ
 + community’s annual celebration of radical authenticity\, grounded in t
 he belief that visibility is the most potent weapon against prejudice. Fou
 nded in 1988 to mark the anniversary of the 1987 March on Washington for L
 esbian and Gay Rights\, the day transforms what can be a high-stakes perso
 nal milestone into a collective act of pride and power. The core philosoph
 y is simple yet transformative: it is much harder for homophobia and trans
 phobia to thrive when people realize their siblings\, neighbors\, and cowo
 rkers are part of the community. While coming out remains a deeply individ
 ual journey—and one that certainly doesn’t have a mandatory deadline
 —NCOD serves as a supportive reminder that living out loud isn't just a 
 personal win\; it’s a vital contribution toward a world where being your
 self is the standard\, not the exception.\n\n\n
