The Sussex Pride Health Committee will be meeting via zoom. The group normally meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 3:00 PM.
The purpose of the committee is to address the health disparities LGBTQ+ people face in Sussex County. We will be discussing.
- Plans for an LGBTQ+ needs assessment in Sussex County.
- Ongoing efforts on cultural competency training with Bay Health and Beebe Healthcare
- Our collaboration with the University of Salisbury which includes transgender focus groups and an upcoming symposium on gender affirming health care.
