The RD20 Democratic Committee hosts a night of comedy with Suzanne Westenhoefer on Saturday, June 1st at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. Rehoboth’s own comedian Karen Faber will open the show.

Suzanne Westenhoefer is a nationally known comic who has broken barriers, including being the first lesbian comedian with an HBO comedy special and the first lesbian comedian to perform on Late Night with David Letterman. She has been advocating for LGBTQ rights, women’s rights and choice, and other causes since the 1980s. Suzanne will not stop until she has you rolling with laughter. Nothing is off limits. Every show is an off-the-cuff, unscripted laugh riot.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with a silent auction and bar until 6:45. Karen Faber will take the stage at 7 p.m., with Suzanne following at 7:15. At 8:30, DJ Special T will take over for an evening of dancing until 11 p.m.
There will be a signer for the hearing impaired. High-end auction items will be available to bid on.
