The Sussex Pride Health Committee will be meeting via zoom. The group normally meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 3:00 PM.
Our November meeting will feature a presentation from Brett Appelbaum on Doxy PEP. Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (Doxy PEP) is an antibiotic that can help prevent bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. (learn more about Doxy PEP here). Starting October 1st, DOXY PEP will be available at all Delaware State Service Centers.
Brett Appelbaum (RN, MSN) serves at the Office of Public Health Nursing at Delaware Health and Social Services.
