Join us as author Kevin Mallinson reads from and discusses his book ‘Alarm in the Firehouse: A Memoir of America’s First Openly Gay Professional Firefighter’
As the first openly gay professional firefighter in the country, Kevin confronted homophobia at its worst. With a sense of humor and photos, he relays the story of his years in the Key West Fire Department during the emergence of the HIV pandemic.
This workshop takes place Saturday July 20th at 1:30 PM at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center and is part of Rehoboth Beach Pride activities.
