The state’s LGBTQ+ Commission advises the governor and legislature on policy changes and emerging issues that are necessary to protect and strengthen the community in the state.
The commission is dedicated solely to advocating for the LGBTQ+ community, serving as an advisory body to state leaders on policies around mental health, education, housing, healthcare and civil rights.
