Roots & Wings is a monthly gathering for parents of transgender children facilitated by Anita Smulyan. Roots and wings is held at Midway Cafe typically (but not always) on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
Over a shared meal, we trade stories, ask questions, and learn from one another’s journeys. It’s a space for growing our understanding, strengthening our support, and celebrating our kids as they take flight — together, we build the roots they need while they spread their wings.
