Join us for a workshop on supporting the LGBTQIA identified Latinx community presented by Julissa Coriano of Orgullo Delaware.
LGBTQIA-identified Latines face many unique challenges and barriers due to the intersection of identities. Shame and rejection from family, religion, and society, impacts mental health, self esteem, and self worth. The pressure to embrace the White, Western gender expansive idea is an additional stress and turmoil. This workshop will enlighten attendees on how to support LGBTQIA-identified Latines.
