Roots & Wings is a monthly gathering for parents of transgender children, held at Midway Cafe on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Over a shared meal, we trade stories, ask questions, and learn from one another’s journeys. It’s a space for growing our understanding, strengthening our support, and celebrating our kids as they take flight — together, we build the roots they need while they spread their wings.
First time. Do we bring our child?
Hey, this particular event is just for parents, but there are plenty of other events that you can check out. We typically do youth events once a month on the second Saturday of the month and we do transfam once a month which is for parents and kids together.
