Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) invites you to attend our Third Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.
Proceeds from this year’s event will raise money for Charlotte King Scholarships for high school seniors to be awarded in the spring of 2026. Each recipient will receive a $1500 scholarship. In addition, funds raised will be used for our Academic Achievement awards for middle school students.
The event will pay homage to Dr. King and young civil rights leaders, like as John Lewis, Ella Baker, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Andrew Young, preserving and maintaining the truth about American history and African American history will also be a theme.
The event features musical acts and performances as well as inspirational commentary. As in previous years SDARJ will showcase young people in the program. So get ready to be inspired and fired up for 2026 which is likely to be one of the most consequential years in American history.
