PRIDE is a 2014 drama that went on to win the BAFTA Film Award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer in 2015.
Directed by Matthew Warchus, the film is based on a true story that takes place in the year 1984, and depicts a group of UK LGBTQ activists who are dedicated to raising money for families affected by the lengthy National Union of Mineworkers Strike but there’s one catch: The Union seems to be embarrassed to receive support from them.
