Written by AZ Espinoza (Director of Del Shakes’ Summer Fest Macbeth 2023), Caribbean King: a modern queering of Shakespeare’s King Lear. The play takes inspiration from Shakespeare’s King Lear to create a modern twist. Cord returns to the Caribbean island of his birth as it transitions out of the Commonwealth and into political independence.
