Sussex Pride and Free Mom Hugs invite you to walk with us in the Sea Witch Parade! Individuals who are helping us decorate the float are asked to arrive at 9:00 AM and invidividuals who are just coming to walk can arrive at 10:00 AM. (please consider coming early, we need some help with the decorations!). We will be lining up with Motorized rolles on State Street between . We will be lining up on State Road. Head to the intersection of State Road and 330 Rehoboth Avenue. (See map below). While we are on State Road decorating the float the closest bathroom will be located on the parking lot of Lockwood COnstruction at 330 State Road.
- Please sign up: Registration is at the bottom of this page. Sign-up is required for all minors. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian registered as a Free Mom Hugs volunteer.
- Come in Costume. Our float will have a graveyard vibe, so come as a ghost, a witch, or a zombie, or anything that makes you feel comfortable and fits into the theme.
- Bring some candy. We will have some candy to distrubute, but you are encouraged to ring two to three large bags of candy for the event if you are able
- No tossing or throwing candy. You are encouraged to hand out candy as we walk the parade route, but throwing or tossing candy is prohibited.
