The Delaware Partnership for Healthy Communities invites the community to an LGBTQ+ Legal & Healthcare readiness event. The event will offer legal counseling, notary services, and resources to empower attendees to protect their rights, including:
- Living wills and advance directives to ensure individuals’ healthcare wishes are respected
- Durable power of attorney for healthcare and finances
- Basic wills to help with estate planning and beneficiary designation
- Name change guidance for those who may need assistance navigating the process
The event takes place Thursday December 12th from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the University of Delaware Health Sciences Complex (HSC) Atrium Star Tower, 540 S College Ave Newark DE, 19713.
