Gay Women of Rehoboth invites you to join active and retired women veterans and women first responders as well as the Sussex County community in laying a wreath in remembrance of those women who have served and given their lives for our country.
The event takes place Monday May 26th at 8:45 AM at the Bandstand area in Rehoboth Beach.
Program:
- Opening music
- Opening prayer by Rev. Heather Rion Starr from UU Church in Lewes
- Laying of the Wreaths Honor Guard
- Guest Speakers: Colonel (Ret) Debbie Harrington Ed.D, Ret. Air Force Dana Paskins, Claire Snyder-Hall
- Readng of the names of women who died in service for their country by Ellie Maher
- Closing Music
Following this event, there will be a cookout honoring our LGBTQ Service Members & First Responders at Cape Henlopen Pavilion. More information about the cookout will be posted at gaywomenofrehoboth.org.
