MCCR Folk Jam is a group of music enthusiasts whose focus is to preserve an old fashion form of entertainment: singing and playing an acoustic instrument.
MCCR Folk Jam welcomes beginner singers and instrumentalists, as well as the more seasoned musician, in the hope that the blend of experiences will enhance and improve everyone’s musical skills. We meet in a space that is acoustically live so no amplification is needed. Music genres include folk, bluegrass, sea chantey, camp songs, work songs, gospel, spirituals, and acapella.
Meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 6:00 pm at MCC Rehoboth
