Join HealthHIV, the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health, and our partner organizations on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm EST for a Twitter chat in recognition of World AIDS Day (WAD).
This year’s theme for World AIDS Day is Putting Ourselves to the Test: Achieving Equity to End HIV. This theme encourages people to unite globally to eliminate the disparities and inequities that create barriers to HIV testing, prevention, and access to HIV care.
We’ll be discussing a variety of important topics in our Twitter chat, including:
- Strategies for reducing stigma associated with HIV/AIDS;
- Culturally-affirming and accessible HIV/AIDS care for marginalized communities;
- Considerations around care coordination for people aging with HIV;
- The challenges of addressing intersecting syndemics;
- And more!
All are invited to join the conversation! We also encourage participants to showcase the tools and resources that their organization provides to support people living with HIV and AIDS.
