Rehoboth Beach Bears, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide inclusive fellowship and fraternity for the LGBTQIA+ and ally communities, while raising money to benefit charities who provide for community betterment.
Rehoboth Beach Bears also raises funds to provide scholarships for LGBTQIA+ youth in our area. Founded in 2017, our Scholarship Program makes awards available to graduating seniors who are seeking to further their education. These awards may be used to help fund any part of the recipient’s post-secondary education expenses.
For 2026 we will offer an application that can be filled out online or downloaded from our website to submit for review. Once all applications are submitted (electronically or by USPS) by the deadline May 15, 2026, we will review the applications and announce the winners on May 29, 2026.
There are three forms for the application process which will need to be filled out for each applicant:
- The applicants’ application
- The applicants’ guidance counselor or teacher recommendation
- The applicants’ peer recommendation form
