Each March, the Bisexual Resource Center leads Bi+ Health Awareness Month (#BiHealthMonth), a national campaign addressing the health disparities faced by bisexual+ communities.
This year’s theme, Claiming the Right to Care as Bi+ People, centers patient agency and access to affirming healthcare. Bi+ people continue to face disproportionately high rates of mental health challenges, healthcare discrimination, and care avoidance, which is often driven by erasure and lack of provider understanding.
