Mental health matters and we know it can often be a difficult conversation. It’s even harder to talk about
suicide, but that’s the reality 130 families had to face in 2022 in our state alone when their loved one died by
suicide – a tragedy that often requires unique support and care for the loss survivors left behind. We also know
that more than half of those suicides were by firearm. We are ready to shout #EnoughDE! We are proud to say
that we are joining forces with the Delaware Suicide Prevention Coalition to ask our state’s incoming
administration to dedicate resources to lifesaving suicide prevention and postvention work. Together, with a host
of other organizations, we’re saying #EnoughDE and we hope you’ll sign our petition to join us in making
Delaware a safer and healthier place.
