Hello everyone, this is the second installment in our Rehoboth Beach Pride Vendor Talk series! If you haven’t read the first installment, I highly recommend doing so. For this series, we are introducing and interviewing a handful of the amazing vendors for the upcoming Rehoboth Beach Pride Festival on July 19th!
Today I’m interviewing Rebecca Ianieri (She/Her) of Baia Designs! Rebecca sells beautiful handmade jewelry pieces, and she has been making them since 2013. These pieces include Stainless Steel, Upcycled Jewelry, Glass Beads and even semi precious stones! She says that jewelry making started as a coping mechanism, and after her friends offered to buy her pieces, she decided to start a business doing what she loved, and what helped her survive day to day life. As a fierce LGBTQ+ ally, she shares that she is excited and honored to be a vendor at Rehoboth Beach Pride for the very first time, and we’re so excited to have her. She says that now more than ever it’s important for her to show up for our people, and in doing so she plans to donate half of all proceeds on her Pride jewelry collection to the Transgender Law Center, so come on out, get some gorgeous jewelry and support an amazing cause!
For anyone who is interested in supporting Rebecca, she has a Facebook page you can find here and an instagram account that can be found here! As always thank you for reading, and we look forward to seeing you all very soon! Happy Pride!
