You are invited to come show your love and support for Goolee’s Grille and the legendary Goolee’s Drag Brunch on Sunday July 20th. As you may have heard, members of St. Ann’s Church will be engaging in a peaceful prayer vigil and protest of the Goolee’s Drag Brunch, due to some misguided ideas they have about the show and the LGBTQ+ community at large.
It is disappointing to see members of a faith community demonstrate against a beloved locally owned business that celebrates and supports our vibrant local LGBTQ+ community. Our peaceful counter-protest will gather outside of Goolee’s starting at 11:15 PM and stay for about an hour, or as long as the protesters remain. You are encouraged to show up wearing your rainbow-finest attire (It is Rehoboth Beach Pride Weekend, after all!) and to bring signs to demonstrate your support of Goolee’s, of drag queens, and of the LGBTQ+ community.

Please note, the Drag Bunch is sold out, so you can no longer purchase tickets to the event. The Goolee’s gift shop will be open, however.
