Gay Women of Rehoboth presents a Teresa Trull & Barbara Higbie Reunion Concert on Saturday June 20th. Teresa and Barbara are back together again on tour for a beautiful vocal blend of new music and those memories of women’s music as we journeyed through life to now. Tickets are $50 for the front four rows, or $45 for general admission. Doors open at 4:00 PM. Concert starts at 5:00 PM.
About Teresa Trull
A true pioneer of the “Women’s Music” movement, Teresa Trull is a fiery-haired powerhouse known for her gutsy, soulful voice that spans from a clear soprano to a rich, gravelly alto. Raised in North Carolina on a steady diet of gospel and R&B, she began her career at the legendary Olivia Records in the late 1970s.
About Barbara Higbie
Barbara Higbie is a Grammy-nominated, Bammy award-winning composer, pianist, and master fiddler. As the first female instrumentalist signed to the iconic Windham Hill Records, she helped define the “New Acoustic” sound of the 1980s. Her music is a lush tapestry woven from her global upbringing, including years spent in Ghana, West Africa, and studies at the Sorbonne in Paris.
