Navigating the healthcare system can be challenging for anyone, but for individuals within the LGBTQ+ and polyamorous communities, those challenges often come with unique hurdles. From facing systemic erasure to navigating complex power dynamics, finding inclusive, trauma-aware support is vital—especially during high-stress moments like facing cancer, chronic illness, or caregiving transitions.

To address these critical needs, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition is proud to present the next installment of our “In the Loop” educational series: Care Without Erasure: Navigating Health, Identity, and Support in LGBTQ+ and Polyamorous Communities.

  • Date: Thursday, June 18, 2026
  • Time: 12:30 P.M. – 1:45 P.M.
  • Where: Virtual Event (Scan the QR code in our event graphic to register!)

Led by Ray Beyor (they/them) of Ray Life Coaching—a queer, nonbinary coach specializing in trauma-aware presence—this session will dive deep into how identity, relationships, and power dynamics shape the modern healthcare experience.

Whether you are a patient, a caregiver, a loved one, or a healthcare professional looking to expand your practice, this workshop offers actionable, real-world guidance.

Participants will leave with practical tools to:

  • Honor and protect your true identity within clinical spaces.
  • Advocate for and support chosen family structures in care settings.
  • Navigate high-stress medical conversations with clarity and confidence.
  • Utilize strategies for clearer communication and stronger connection.

Ray Beyor brings both lived experience and professional expertise to the table. As a coach, Ray focuses on helping people navigate major life transitions with authenticity, providing trauma-informed strategies that empower individuals to show up fully in their lives and their healthcare interactions.

This educational event is free to attend, but registration is required.
