Sussex Pride and Sussex Pride Faith invite the LGBTQIA+, Queer, affirming, and ally community to join in a celebration of healing, growth, and belonging to open Sussex Pride weekend! An interfaith PRIDE service beginning the festival will take place at Metropolitan Community Church (19369 Plantation Rd, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971) on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Faith leaders and intentionally welcoming and affirming congregations from across Sussex County will come together to uplift a space of honoring our LGBTQIA+ ancestors of faith, acknowledging institutional harm, and claiming healing for spaces celebrating Queer spirituality. Music and dance will join justice and prayer in this lifegiving space we are invited to build together. We look forward to being in community together as we give thanks for our shared Pride!
