Seaside Jewish Community Center will hold its annual Pride Shabbat service on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 7:30 PM. Those who would like to attend need to register by Thursday, June 4, 2026. When registering, please be sure to include the number and names of people in your group. The service can be attended via Zoom or in person.
The service will be led by Rabbi Beth Cohen and Rabbi Julie Danan with music by Seaside’s Chaverim Shearim. Hope Vella, a member of the Board of Directors of CAMP Rehoboth, will be our guest speaker for the evening.
Seaside’s Social Justice and Worship Committees are co-sponsoring Seaside’s Pride Shabbat service. Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Justice — Tzelem Elohim (All are created in the image of God) — is one of the seven areas of emphasis for the Social Justice Committee.
Seaside provides a welcoming environment for the LGBTQ+ community with practices and policies for the fair and equitable treatment of all people. Seaside’s Pride Shabbat is held in unity with Pride events occurring around the globe during the month of June, the recognized Pride month.
