Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Delaware

As we commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on the legacy of a leader whose vision of equality, justice, and compassion continues to inspire generations. This day, observed every third Monday in January, not only honors Dr. King’s monumental contributions to the Civil Rights Movement but also serves as a reminder of the ongoing work needed to achieve his dream of a just society. In Delaware, communities are actively embracing this opportunity to engage in service, education, and reflection. To help you participate in this national day of service and remembrance, we have compiled a list of upcoming events and resources that will allow you to honor Dr. King’s message and take meaningful action within your community.
