No Name-Calling Week is an annual awareness campaign that aims to combat bullying and promote kindness in schools and communities. It was inspired by the 2001 novel “The Misfits” by James Howe, which featured a group of students who successfully launched a “No Name-Calling Day” in their school.

Speak Out Against Hate, a local group addressing hate in Delaware, has a youth and school officials action group which works to make schools safe and welcoming for all. High School and College aged students that are interested in learning more are invited to join SOAH at this Silent Disco Night.

The Village Youth Leadership Team
The Village is a community of LGBTQ+ youth and adults, and their allies, dedicated to empowering and supporting members of all ages. The Village is located in Northern Delaware and beyond, and hosts events most often online, with occasional in-person events. We aim to provide safe social engagements, mentorship, resources, education, and leadership opportunities for youth and adults.

Q Chat Space provides live, chat-based discussion groups for LGBTQ+ and questioning teens ages 13 to 19. It is not a forum, and there is no video or audio. Everyone is chatting during the same pre-scheduled time. Our chats are facilitated by experienced staff and volunteers from youth programs at LGBTQ+ centers across the United States.
