SOAH Hosts Dance Party Fundraiser

Community members put on their dancing shoes Friday night, November 14, filling the Listening Booth with energy as they danced, mingled, and bid on raffle items—all in support of Speak Out Against Hate’s Youth Scholarship Program and its Student Ambassador Internship Program. These initiatives help empower local high school students as they work alongside SOAH mentors and grow as future leaders.

Local favorite DJ Das Wuff kept the room moving with a great mix of music that drew a lively, multigenerational crowd to the dance floor. SOAH’s new interns took turns as MCs throughout the evening, adding their own spark to the event.

The night’s big excitement came from the raffles—a 50/50 that sent the winner home with $118, and an impressive collection of 45 raffle baskets and gift cards generously donated by local businesses and community members. Thanks to this incredible support, SOAH exceeded our expectations and raised over $3,500 to invest directly in programs for local youth.

SOAH extends heartfelt thanks to The Listening Booth owners, Victoria Rioux and Marissa Levi, for their support, and to everyone who joined us for an evening of fun with purpose. Your participation helps strengthen SOAH’s mission and invest in the young people who will lead our community forward.
