Survey: PrEP and Communities of Color

HIV prevention and care providers are encouraged to participate in the HealthHIV State of HIV Care™ Fifth Annual National Survey. The survey is being conducted by HealthHIV and will help them better understand many aspects of HIV prevention in communities of color including access and use of PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis).

Providers that are encouraged to take the survey include:

  • Doctors of Medicine,
  • Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine,
  • Physician Assistants,
  • Nurse Practitioners,
  • Pharmacists,
  • Registered Nurses,
  • Community Health Workers,
  • Behavioral and Mental Health Providers,
  • Social Workers, and
  • Administrators

Despite being disproportionately affected by HIV, people of color continue to face challenges accessing PrEP. Why is this and what would help your practice increase PrEP access?

As a valued healthcare provider, your distinct perspective on this and other topics will help us better understand the current landscape of HIV care.

By taking the HealthHIV State of HIV Care™ Fifth Annual National Survey, you will be sharing your views on a wide range of topics, including:

  • Facilitators and barriers to HIV prevention and care,
  • Optimizing PrEP uptake,
  • Controlling emerging epidemics (e.g. MPox),
  • Meeting the increased demand for behavioral healthcare,
  • Mitigating workforce burnout, and
  • Determining training priorities.
  • Your responses will help us create relevant advocacy, education, research, and training activities for healthcare professionals involved in HIV prevention and care
