The Delaware LGBTQ+ Commission Intersectionality Committee will be meeting on May 4th. The meeting will be held at 5PM either on zoom or in-person in Dover, Delaware.
The Delaware LGBTQ+ Commission serves to strengthen ties between the government and LGBTQ+ organizations, helps remove barriers to societal participation for LGBTQ+ people, and improves the delivery of services to the community in Delaware in areas such as employment, equality, education, mental health, social services, health, and housing.
The Intersectionality Subcommittee is a specialized group within the Delaware LGBTQ+ Commission established to ensure that the commission’s work addresses the unique needs of LGBTQ+ individuals who face overlapping forms of discrimination and marginalization.
All meetings are open to the public.
